Caydie Heller has been photographing families and events in the Cleveland area for twenty-five years. A long-time Shaker Heights native, she combines a college major in drama, a few years of teaching High School and a love of people (children in particular; she is the mother of four) with an interactive, friendly photographic style that translates into lovely portraits and creative, compelling candids.
Caydie has participated in juried photo shows in Cleveland for the past twenty-five years. She presently is a member of the Board of Directors for the Shaker Arts Council and the Board of Trustees for the Shaker Youth Council. In 2007 she won "Best in Show" and "Best in Black and White" at the JCC annual juried photo show. She was the photographer for the opening of the Playhouse Square in Cleveland, and has photographed many charity and fund raising events in the area. In 2004 Caydie was the photographer for the book Cleveland Couples, in which she created black and white portraits of forty couples including celebrities and regular local folks.
